Nita Tin is no stranger to hardship – or to hope. A former Buddhist who came to faith in Christ after fleeing political and personal turmoil in her homeland of Burma, Nita carries a radiant testimony of transformation. Her memoir, Heartbeat of a Survivor: From Golden Pagodas to a Soul Set Free, tells the story of her journey through fear, grief, and loss into freedom, healing, and purpose.
For over 50 years, Nita has poured into others through Bible teaching, coaching, and speaking engagements across the United States and abroad. She has spoken at events for Focus on the Family, Moody Radio, Precept Ministries, churches in Australia and Malta, as well as women’s conferences nationwide. She was the lead speaker at the National Young Women’s Christian Conference and the recipient of the 2023 Lydia Award from Scenic City Women’s Network.
With deep compassion and contagious joy, Nita continues to speak, coach, and create from her home in Georgia, encouraging others to walk boldly in freedom and faith. Whether you are navigating loss, searching for God’s purpose, or simply longing for encouragement, Nita is here to walk beside you.
