Born into an aristocratic Burmese family, Nita’s early life was one of opulence and luxury – until political unrest, civil war, and personal loss changed everything. Forced to leave her homeland with her husband and two small children, they began their life anew in the United States with only twenty dollars and unwavering faith.

What followed was a life grounded in sacrifice, service, and an ever-deepening relationship with Christ.

Nita calls herself “an emptied, broken vessel, saved to tell of the glorious gospel of Christ.” For over five decades, she has been doing just that, whether from a stage, across a table, or through the pages of her book.

Her journey is one of cultural courage, marital devotion, and spiritual awakening. From the ashes of grief and hardship rose a radiant testimony of God’s healing love. Through each twist in her journey, Nita found purpose not only in surviving but in helping others thrive.

Today, Nita resides in a creative arts community outside Atlanta, Georgia, where she writes, speaks, coaches, and crafts beautiful things with her hands and heart. Her story is not the end. It is an invitation for you to step into your own.
